George Michael Injured In Car Crash

George Michael was airlifted to a London hospital Thursday night after being involved in a car accident on the M1 in Hertfordshire.

Michael was a passenger in car travelling northbound near the 6a junction close to where the M1 and M25 meet. He is believed to have suffered minor head injuries in the accident.

A spokesperson for the singer said that he had ‘superficial cuts and bruises but is fine”.

The accident caused a major traffic jam on the freeway and the road was closed for one hour during peak period from 5:50pm.

Michael was discharged from hospital on Friday.
