The original Gotye and Kimbra video for ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ and the cover by Canada’s Walk Off The Earth will collectively pass the 100 million views benchmark on YouTube this week.

At the time of this story Gotye’s version was at 54,809,010 views after six months. Walk Off The Earth have amassed an incredible 42,394,698 in the past three weeks. That brings the current tally to 97,203,708 views.
This makes ‘Something That I Used To Know’ the most viewed Australian song of all-time on YouTube.
Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ has spent the past five weeks at number one in Germany and was the biggest selling Australian song of 2011.
Last week Walk Off The Earth performed the song on Ellen. That video on YouTube has clocked in 439,243 views. Watch it here:
