James Reyne Is Doing A ‘Billy Joel’ At Crown

by Paul Cashmere on September 3, 2018

in News

James Reyne will play a residency at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on the first Saturday of every month for 2019.

The residency is a first for Crown and kind of mirrors the Billy Joel deal at Madison Square Garden (except Joel’s deal is for life). Joel has played one date every month at Madison Square Garden, New York since January 2014.

James Reyne will have special guests Chantoozies, Models, Taxiride and Boom Crash Opera through-out the year.

Reyne is content about “going Vegas”. “Very happy to be back playing the first Saturday of every month of 2019 at The Palms. Fabulous rock and roll turf and almost our second home by now. At least we can say we’ve “gone a little Vegas”.

“They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but I tell ya, what happens at The Palms you can scream from the mountain tops,” he said.
