‘Beautiful Morning’ is the first taste of Rod’s next album ‘Rock’, due in Autumn 2013 according to the notes.
‘Rock’ will be Rod Stewart’s first album of original songs in 12 years. His last was ‘Human’ in 2001.
After ‘Human’ Rod started work on ‘The Great American Songbook’ and went on to record a total five volumes of the classic songs. He also recorded the rock and roll covers record ‘Still The Same: Great Rock and Roll Classics Of Our Time’ in 2007 and the soul covers album ‘Soulbook’ in 2009.
