Lorde has revealed the cover for the new Hunger Games soundtrack, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.”
Lorde was chosen to curate the soundtrack to the new movie. Today she has revealed the title for her song ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ to be included on the soundtrack. ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ will be released later today.
“Curating the soundtrack for such a hotly-anticipated film was a challenge, but I jumped at the chance,” said Lorde. “The cast and story are an inspiration for all musicians participating and, as someone with cinematic leanings, being privy to a different creative process has been a unique experience. I think the soundtrack is definitely going to surprise people.”
‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ is the next line on the Hunger Games franchise. The new movie is the first in a trilogy. It was directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutchinson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson.
