The UK chart-topping indie-pop band will return to Australia and New Zealand for their first headline run following their stadium appearances with Robbie Williams, taking in seven venues across both countries.
The Lottery Winners will return to Australia and New Zealand in April 2027 for a seven-date headline tour, following their recent stadium appearances alongside Robbie Williams.

The Leigh, Greater Manchester, four-piece will play Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane before crossing the Tasman for two New Zealand shows in Auckland and Christchurch.
The tour represents a significant step forward for the band in Australia and New Zealand. Having introduced themselves to large audiences through the Robbie Williams stadium dates, The Lottery Winners will now headline their own shows, bringing a catalogue that has produced two consecutive UK number one albums.
The band’s commercial breakthrough came with 2023’s Anxiety Replacement Therapy, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The achievement was repeated in March 2025 when KOKO, an abbreviation of Keep On Keeping On, also entered the chart at number one.
KOKO sold more than 23,500 copies in its opening week in the UK, consolidating the band’s position among the country’s most successful contemporary indie-pop acts. Both albums featured an impressive collection of guest collaborations, with contributions from Chad Kroeger, Frank Turner, Shaun Ryder, Boy George, Reverend and the Makers, and Shed Seven.
The success represents a considerable achievement for a band that spent more than a decade building its audience through the British pub, club and festival circuit.
Formed in Leigh in 2008, The Lottery Winners gradually developed a following through relentless touring before attracting wider industry attention. A showcase in 2019 helped secure a recording agreement with Modern Sky UK, working through the influence of legendary music executive Seymour Stein.
Their self-titled major-label debut was released in March 2020, just as the COVID-19 pandemic brought the live music industry to a standstill. Rather than allowing the interruption to halt their progress, the band continued releasing music, including the Sounds of Isolation covers project.
The 2021 album Something To Leave The House For reached number 11 on the UK Albums Chart, providing another step towards the breakthrough that followed with Anxiety Replacement Therapy.
Their growing profile subsequently opened opportunities to share stages with some of the biggest names in British and international music. The band have performed alongside Noel Gallagher, Nickelback, Morrissey, Avril Lavigne, Tom Jones, Paul Weller and Richard Ashcroft.
Their festival history includes Glastonbury, where they performed multiple sets in 2023, as well as appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival, Latitude, Pinkpop, Pol’and’Rock, NorthSide and Bergenfest. They have also appeared at official SXSW events in both Austin and Sydney.
The Robbie Williams connection has provided another important international platform. The Lottery Winners joined the Britpop Tour for UK and European stadium dates in 2025 before continuing with the Australian and New Zealand performances in 2026.
The band’s appeal has also remained closely connected to their hometown. In May 2026, they played their biggest headline concert to date at Leigh Sports Village Stadium, marking the occasion with the debut of a community collaboration track created with young local artists.
The April 2027 tour moves the band away from the scale of the stadium productions and into a series of more intimate headline venues.
Perth’s Rosemount Hotel opens the Australian leg on Sunday 18 April, followed by Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Tuesday 20 April. Sydney’s Manning Bar hosts the band on Thursday 22 April, with Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom following on Friday 23 April.
Brisbane’s The Triffid completes the Australian dates on Sunday 25 April before the tour moves to New Zealand. Auckland’s Tuning Fork hosts the first New Zealand performance on Tuesday 27 April, followed by Christchurch’s James Hay Theatre on Wednesday 28 April.
For Australian and New Zealand audiences, the dates offer an opportunity to experience The Lottery Winners as headline performers after their introduction to regional stadium audiences through Robbie Williams.
With two UK number one albums, an expanding international audience and a live reputation developed over many years, the April 2027 run marks the next stage of the band’s progress in this part of the world.
