Metallica and Slipknot to tour Australia together in October

Metallica’s Worldwired tour will reach Australia and New Zealand in October and Slipknot are their special guests.

Metallica will play stadiums on the tour. All tickets will include a free MP3 download of the shows attended, mixed and mastered by the people behind ‘Hardwired … To Self-Destruct’.

Metallica last toured Australia for Soundwave in 2013. Previous tours were in 2010, 2004, 1998, 1993 and 1989.

The 1998 tour included an appearance on the ABC TV Saturday morning show ‘Recovery’. Get out this historic footage…
