AC/DC Announce AC/DC Idol Let There Be Booze

by Paul Cashmere on February 11, 2016

in News

AC/DC did not learn their lesson after their bottle piss wine a few years back and invite you to “have a drink on me” with their new bourbon brand.

The first of the AC/DC Bourbon & Cola cans promoting the latest ‘Rock Or Bust’ album has now been launched. AC/DC plan on keeping their fans liquored up with a new collectors can released every two months.

The intention of the booze-fuelled promotion is to create the Let There Be Rock Fund, a fund to assist Australian artists but AC/DC fall short of stating exactly what the portion of funds is that will go to the fund.

The Let There Be Rock Fund will be launched in March. There is very little information about how the fund works, who it is designed for or how the funds will be distributed. What so far comes across as AC/DC Idol currently invites aspiring musicians like this:

All you gotta do is play a killer cover of your favourite AC/DC song, all genres accepted. Do you rock out to ‘Back in Black’ or is ‘Highway to Hell’ more your jam? Whatever you choose to cover, start practising now – it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!

Keep your eyes peeled! We will be releasing more details about about how to enter in the next few weeks.
