Sir Elton John’s former PR specialist has thanked the star for the “memorable experiences” they shared.

The British singer worked with Gary Farrow for 35 years, but they professional relationship has now ended. Gary has paid tribute to the musical legend, admitting the decision to go their separate ways was a tough one.

“After some serious thought, and with a heavy heart, I can no longer continue my professional duties as Elton John’s personal PR,” he said in a statement.

“Contractual, media, and PR directional differences between Elton’s new management and myself have proved wider than I ever imagined and leave me with little option but to leave.

“It simply remains for me to thank Elton for all the memorable experiences we have shared.”

Elton has a new record called Wonderful Crazy Night coming out, which he is determined will be a huge success. It is his 32nd album and is due to his stores in February 2016, with the star apparently sure it has what it takes to set charts alight around the world.

Celebrity PR guru Murray Chalmers has been drafted in to take care of public relations for Sir Elton and his company the Rocket Entertainment Group, which is run by his husband David Furnish.
