One Direction Reveal 2016 Resolutions

Each member of One Direction has a unique goal to pursue in 2016, as the pop stars have offered up what they plan to conquer as part of their New Year’s resolutions.

One Direction, comprised of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, is going on hiatus in March (16), to the dismay of some fans.

During their quiet time the singers have the opportunity to tackle individual pursuits and Liam is determined to become healthier than he’s ever been.

“I’m going to try and give up smoking, which is hard, but I do want to,” he told People magazine of his desire for cigarette cessation. “I want to. It’s about time. Need to grow up now.”

Niall is also focused on health, noting his fitness routine is subpar at the moment: “I’m going to train, succeed in the gym this year (16). I always do it when I’m on tour and then when I get home, I’m crap. Yeah, I would like to succeed properly and get the job done.”

However, unlike their bandmates, Louis and Harry are disinterested in entertaining New Year’s resolutions right now. Harry notes it is “too early” to start thinking about such things and Louis isn’t quite keen on the subject either.

“I never stick to mine, so I’m out!” Louis stressed.

One Direction members are all very busy, but Louis has a particularly noteworthy year to look forward to in 2016 as he is expecting his first child with stylist friend Briana Jungwirth, with the baby due date allegedly set for February.
