Neil Young’s next instalment from his archives will be The Washington, DC concert ‘Live At the Cellar Door 1970’.

Young performed six shows at The Cellar Door venue in November and December, 1970. All shows were recorded by according to Young fan-site Trasherswheat.org Young told Guitar World mag in 2009 that he didn’t have “enough great takes to release it as its own disk”.

The plan in 2009 was to release the usable tracks as a downloadable part of the online archive series, available with the blu-ray version of the Archives box set.

An edited version of track 10 ‘See The Sky About To Rain’ was already included in the box set.

‘Live At The Cellar Door 1970’ is expected to be released through Warner Reprise in September, 2013.
