Prince’s Paisley Park in Chanhassen, MN has gone from a place of mourning to a full-blown tourist attraction in record time.

After a short time, while the town elders decided whether it could open on a regular schedule as a museum, Paisley Park moved into full-time operations in October. On Thursday, they announced a number of new themed fan experience packages which will begin in December.

Beginning December 1, VIP ticket holders will have the opportunity to enter the legendary Studio B control room and record a short vocal over a Prince song. The recording will be available to take home on a USB stick.

On Friday and Saturday evenings starting December 2 and 3, guests will be able to experience “Paisley Park After Dark”, a recreation of the famous parties hosted by Prince over the years. Fridays will offer a dance party with a DJ in Prince’s private NPG Music Club while Saturdays will be movie night featuring Prince’s films and rare concert footage. Dining selections will also be available from the Paisley Park kitchen.

Finally, on Sundays starting December 4, there will be “The Brunch Experience” for the VIP tour package with a special meal in the NPG Music Club along with Prince videos, music and some of his favorite foods.

Today also marks the opening of the new Paisley Park online store with merchandise including clothing, apparel and accessories.
