Queen And Elton John To Play Las Vegas’ iHeart Music Festival

Ryan Seacrest announced the lineup for this year’s iHeart Music Festival on all Clear Channel radio stations Monday morning with a lineup heavy on big names from all genres and including a special appearance by Queen with Adam Lambert.

This will be the third year for the festival in Las Vegas with the 2013 show scheduled for September 20 and 21 at the MGM Grand. Along with the two nights of big names, they have also added an outdoor stages called the Fan Village.

While big names like Justin Timberlake and Katy Perry are expected each year, the big surprise for 2013 was the inclusion of Queen Featuring Adam Lambert. There had been hints that they would be carrying on their occasional performances in 2013 but this is the first announcement of a date.

Seacrest also announce that, like in past years, there will be a number of special collaborations between artists.
