Radiohead’s OK Computer is about to become a 2-CD set for its 20th anniversary.

Released on July 1, 1997 in the U.S., the album became the band’s first big hit, going to number 1 in the U.K. and 21 in America, it would give the band a boost that led to 2000’s Kid A which topped the charts in both countries.

Radiohead have been teasing a possible release over the last week with posters around various cities and a cryptic video that was released yesterday. We now know that there will be a two-CD set with numerous b-sides along with three previously unreleased tracks. The album will be released on June 23, the same day as their headlining performance at Glastonbury.

The album will be released digitally, as a 2-CD set, 3-LP vinyl set and a box set with the vinyl version of the album, a hardcover book containing “more than 30 artworks, many of which have never been seen before except by us, and full lyrics to all the tracks except the ones that haven’t really got any lyrics.”

“Under this weighty tome are yet more surprises: a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke’s library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock’s ‘preparatory work’ and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us, taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes.”
