RAYE has released the official video for “Joy.”, the latest single from her UK No.1 album THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., with sisters and fellow artists Amma and Absolutely joining her for a London road trip in a van named the “Joymobile”. The video follows the three sisters as they hand out sunflowers to people across the capital, while the song continues to expand its presence beyond RAYE’s live performances.

“Joy.” places RAYE’s gospel and soul influences alongside a disco rhythm, pop and R&B production, with Amma and Absolutely each contributing a verse. The song has become a recurring part of RAYE’s 2026 live performances, including her headline appearance at Reading Festival in August and her 51-date THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC tour.

The sisters also performed “Joy.” together during RAYE’s sold-out tour and appeared with her on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The track has been added to playlists at both BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 2 and is scheduled to impact US pop radio on September 22.

The new video extends the song’s central idea into a real-world setting. Rather than relying on a conventional performance narrative, RAYE, Amma and Absolutely travel through London in their “Joymobile”, approaching members of the public with sunflowers and recording their reactions.

Short clips from the shoot circulated on TikTok and Instagram in August, ahead of the complete video. The footage connects the three sisters’ musical collaboration with a deliberately simple visual concept, using encounters with Londoners to illustrate the song’s emphasis on finding moments of happiness.

“Joy.” is part of THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE., RAYE’s second album, released in March 2026. The 17-track record reached No.1 in the UK, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium, while placing in the Top 5 in Austria, Norway, Ireland, Germany, New Zealand, Denmark, Portugal and Croatia.

The album is structured across four “seasons”, moving thematically from darkness towards light while drawing from pop, R&B, jazz, big band, soul and orchestral music. “Joy.” sits within that broader arc, presenting optimism as something developed through difficult experience rather than as uncomplicated escapism.

Other tracks released from the album include “Click Clack Symphony”, a collaboration with Hans Zimmer, “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” and “Nightingale Lane”. “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” has become one of RAYE’s biggest international recordings, passing one billion Spotify streams. The song reached No.1 in the UK and has spent 30 weeks on the US Billboard Hot 100, while also giving RAYE her second Top 10 on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart.

The commercial performance of “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” adds further context to RAYE’s current international profile. The single has accumulated multi-platinum certifications across several territories, including four-times platinum in Australia, while receiving diamond certifications in Brazil, France and Belgium.

RAYE has spent 2026 touring extensively across the UK, Europe and North America. Her THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC run included six sold-out performances at London’s The O2, alongside shows at Radio City Music Hall and the Greek Theatre.

She is now performing as a special guest on Bruno Mars’ The Romantic Tour, with 23 stadium dates across North America. The run includes a September 9 performance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The current period follows RAYE’s breakthrough awards season in 2024, when she won six BRIT Awards, including Album of the Year, setting a record for the most BRIT Awards won by an artist in a single year. She has subsequently received further recognition from the Recording Academy, including the Harry Belafonte Best Song For Social Change CEO Merit Award for “Ice Cream Man”.

RAYE’s wider career has also established her as a significant songwriter and recording artist, with 21 Top 40 UK singles since 2014 and more than 10 billion cumulative Spotify streams. She has previously received Grammy nominations, while THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE. has been selected among the Mercury Music Prize Albums of the Year.

The release of the “Joy.” video therefore comes during an unusually active period for RAYE, with the album continuing its chart campaign, “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!” maintaining its international reach and “Joy.” developing from an album track into a prominent part of her live repertoire.

For now, RAYE’s next performances are tied to Bruno Mars’ North American stadium tour, while “Joy.” continues its rollout with the new London-focused video and its upcoming US pop radio campaign.
