Heath Johns of Universal Publishing announced his latest signing saying, “Redcoats are one of the most exciting and explosive rock bands in the country and we are incredibly thrilled that they have chosen to sign with UMPG. Their blistering brand of rock deserves a global audience and we are very much looking forward to helping the band create and explore local and global opportunities over the coming years.”

Redcoats released their debut EP through Universal Music in July, 2011. They are currently recording their debut album in a remote Victorian farmhouse for a release on Island Records later this year.

“We look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship with UMPG filled with all the wonders of both our universes” said Redcoats.

Universal Music Publishing also includes the works of Wolfmother, Jet, Powderfinger, The Living End, Daniel Merriweather, Children Collide, The Butterfly Effect, Dead Letter Circus, The Potbelleez and Paulmac.
