Welsh-born, Byron Bay-based vocalist Rhydian Lewis continues his collaboration with Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Steve Dorff as his new solo single leads into the forthcoming Fall In Love EP.

Rhydian Lewis has entered the iTunes worldwide singles chart at number 15 with his new single Anywhere, released on 27 October 2026, extending a collaboration with American songwriter and producer Steve Dorff that began with the February duet I Just Fall In Love Again featuring Sam Bailey.

Written and produced by Dorff, Anywhere is the latest release from a larger project built around his songwriting catalogue. The single follows the earlier Lewis and Bailey recording, which reached number one on the UK iTunes singles chart according to the project’s reported chart results.

The number 15 position gives Lewis an early digital chart result for his latest release.

Anywhere continues the adult contemporary direction of the project, placing Lewis’s vocal performance at the centre of a new recording shaped by Dorff’s experience across pop, country and television music.

Dorff was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. His catalogue includes songs recorded by Kenny Rogers, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Stevie Wonder and Olivia Newton-John. His work also extends to film scores and television themes, giving Lewis access to a body of songwriting associated with several generations of popular music.

The collaboration was established with I Just Fall In Love Again, released in February 2026 as a duet with Sam Bailey, the British singer who won the tenth series of The X Factor in the United Kingdom.

The song was co-written by Dorff and first recorded by The Carpenters before Anne Murray’s version became an international hit in 1979. Lewis and Bailey’s interpretation introduced the composition to a new recording project, with the reported UK iTunes chart result providing an early commercial milestone.

Where that release paired Lewis with Bailey, Anywhere is presented as a solo performance. The distinction gives the new single a different role in the project, allowing Lewis to carry the vocal narrative himself while retaining Dorff’s involvement as songwriter and producer.

The forthcoming Fall In Love EP is scheduled for release in November 2026. It forms part of a broader album project devoted to Dorff compositions, combining established songs with new material written for the collaboration.

Recording for the album has taken place across Los Angeles, Nashville and Byron Bay, with Dorff producing the sessions and Scott Dorsey serving as executive producer. Lewis signed a worldwide management agreement with Dorsey Productions in 2025, bringing the singer into a project designed to connect his established performance background with a dedicated studio repertoire.

Dorsey has extensive experience in artist management, including his work with his father, Engelbert Humperdinck. His industry associations have also included Elton John, Carlos Santana and Olivia Newton-John.

For Lewis, the Dorff recordings represent a continuation of a career developed through live performance and classic vocal repertoire. Born in Wales and now based in Byron Bay, he previously fronted swing and big-band ensemble The Residuals and developed theatrical tribute shows celebrating Michael Bublé and Frank Sinatra.

His performance history includes Australian festivals, corporate engagements and international appearances, including Liverpool’s Cavern Club and performances at Palazzo Versace on the Gold Coast. He has also recorded and performed material across multiple languages, building a repertoire informed by traditional pop, swing and the standards associated with earlier generations of vocalists.

The move into a dedicated project of Dorff songs gives Lewis a defined recording direction beyond his live repertoire. It also places the emphasis on interpretation, with the success of the material depending on how established compositions and newly written songs translate into his own vocal style.

Lewis has further live commitments ahead, with Australian touring scheduled to continue through the middle of 2027. Later in the year, he is also scheduled to appear on the Malt Shop Memories Cruise, alongside performers including Tony Orlando, The Righteous Brothers, Dion and Little Anthony.

Anywhere is available now through digital music platforms. The Fall In Love EP is scheduled for November, with the full Steve Dorff album planned to follow.

The reported first-day chart position provides an early indicator of interest in the release, while the EP and subsequent album will offer a broader picture of how the Lewis-Dorff collaboration develops beyond its initial singles.
