Russell Morris ventured into Tasmania for the production of the official video for ‘Van Diemen’s Land’.

The stunning visuals for the video were shot in and around Blue Lake Lodge in the Central Highlands of Tasmania.

Director Lucas Thyer from Brisbane based PixelFrame shot the video in the Tasmanian wilderness with actor Richard Sutherland. Thyer filmed aerial inspections to capture the incredible visuals bringing to life the story of the song.

On the last day of the shoot the production lucked out when Tasmania was hit with a fierce snowstorm giving Thayer even more dynamic visuals.
