The 64-year-old Aerosmith rocker and former American Idol judge is impressed with the 23-year-old country crooner’s music.

Steven believes that he and Taylor, who have both won Grammy Awards, would make great tunes together.

In response to a question about who Steven would intern under if he had the opportunity, he chose Taylor for several reasons.

“She’s blonde with all the hits. Taylor Swift. She’s hot,’ he told Us Weekly magazine.

“More than that, she’s beyond talented. I have to write a song with her.”

Steven stepped down from his post on the American Idol judging panel with Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson last year to focus on making music with Aerosmith.

He enjoyed his two-year stint on the TV singing competition.

“I always wanted to see what the other mountains looked like.. TV is a whole other animal, and it was good,’ Steven explained.

‘I miss J-Lo a lot and Randy [Jackson] on and off.”

Steven is content with Aerosmith at the moment.

“It feels good to be back with my band again. It feels really good,’ he said.
