Missouri’s Story of the Year and Canadian veterans Silverstein will co-headline the Camp Screamo tour across five Australian cities next February, with Los Angeles support act Point North joining the run.

Story of the Year and Silverstein will bring their sold-out North American Camp Screamo co-headline package to Australia in February 2027, with special guests Point North completing the bill. The five-date run opens in Melbourne on Friday 5 February and closes in Brisbane a week later.
The tour follows a successful North American leg that saw both bands share stages to capacity crowds. Story of the Year described the pairing as so strong they felt compelled to extend it. “The Camp Screamo Tour with our old friends, Silverstein, has been so sick that we HAD TO take it to one of our favourite places on Earth for the third leg. See you in February, Australia!” the band said.
Silverstein, who last played Australian stages in 2025 during their 25th anniversary shows, echoed the enthusiasm. “Australia has been a favourite touring destination of ours for over 20 years! We are very excited to bring Camp Screamo down under, including our full Production and a killer line-up of bands (our best pals Story of the Year and Point North). We are going to give Australians the show they deserve, and can’t wait for this tour to kick off. See you there!”
Story of the Year built their reputation on the 2003 debut album Page Avenue, a record that helped define the early-2000s post-hardcore wave and became one of the first in the style to reach one million sales. The Missouri group have released seven studio albums in total. Their most recent, A.R.S.O.N., appeared earlier in 2026 and continued the intense, confessional style that has marked their catalogue. Anthems such as Until the Day I Die, Anthem of Our Dying Day and And the Hero Will Drown remain central to their live sets. The band last toured Australia in 2024 for the 20th anniversary of Page Avenue.
Silverstein have operated at the centre of the emo and post-hardcore scenes for more than 25 years. Their 2005 album Discovering the Waterfront brought a Juno Award for New Group of the Year and introduced widely recognised tracks including Smile in Your Sleep. Subsequent concept records such as A Shipwreck in the Sand and This Is How the Wind Shifts, along with the 2020 album A Beautiful Place to Drown and the 2025 dual release Antibloom and Pink Moon, have kept the Ontario band active and evolving.
Frontman Shane Told has long been regarded as one of the strongest voices in the genre. Songs including My Heroine, The Afterglow and Infinite continue to draw strong responses from audiences.
Point North formed in Los Angeles in 2017 and released their debut full-length Brand New Vision in 2020, followed by Prepare for Despair in 2023. The band’s sound draws from alt-rock, pop-punk and electronic elements. They made their first Australian appearances in 2025 supporting Ocean Sleeper and have previously shared stages with acts including From Ashes to New, Falling in Reverse and Set It Off.
The pairing of two long-running post-hardcore acts for full career-spanning sets, supported by a newer American band already familiar to Australian audiences, positions the Camp Screamo tour as a focused return for both headliners after recent visits. With production promised at full scale and a tight five-city itinerary, the February 2027 run offers a concentrated opportunity for fans of the scene to see both catalogues performed side by side.
