Christian metal band Stryper is going to jump back thirty years to play their breakthrough album, To Hell With the Devil, in its entirety during their fall tour.

Stryper had already released two albums when, on October 24, 1986, they put out To Hell With the Devil. It went on to become the first Christian metal album to be given a Platinum Record and was the best-selling Christian metal album of all time until 2001.

Frontman Michael Sweet said “To Hell with the Devil literally changed our lives. During that tour, we went from playing theaters and mid-sized clubs to arenas, all in a very short amount of time. We could never have predicted the wild popularity of those songs and videos, especially in the mainstream market.”

To Hell With the Devil remains the band’s biggest album and, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release, they will once again put on their yellow and black outfits and play the album in concert.
