Glenn Shorrock joins Paul Cashmere for a wide-ranging Noise11 interview about Legendary: The Ultimate Collection, the live album recorded in 2003 and released more than two decades after the performance.
Glenn Shorrock looks back at the songs that shaped his career, from The Twilights and Axiom through Little River Band and his solo recordings. He explains the story behind “Emma”, discusses the Paris experience that inspired “Seine City”, and reflects on the ideas behind “Sweet Old Fashioned Man” and the spiritual themes of “Help Is On Its Way”.
The conversation also explores Shorrock’s songwriting relationships, the history behind “Home On Monday”, the personal inspiration for “Cool Change” and the unusual story of “The Long Jumping Jeweller”.
