Tears For Fears have been forced to pull the plug on their U.K. and Ireland tour due to “unforeseen health concerns”.

There is no word on who is suffering in the group but the dates, which will continue to include Alison Moyet, are now set for the beginning of 2019.

Also in the statement from the band is the fact that they are working on their first album of new material in fourteen years which they hope to release in the autumn.

The tour had been scheduled to start on April 27 in Leeds, England and was in support of their hits collection Rule the World: The Greatest Hits.

Tears for Fears is Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith.

Tears for Fears apologise to their fans and are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused.
