The Jesus Lizard Cancel Australian Tour Including Release The Bats

The Jesus Lizard have cancelled their upcoming Australian tour including their appearance for All Tomorrows Parties Release The Bats festival.

A statement from ATP reads, “The Jesus Lizard regret to announce they are no longer able to come to Australia/NZ for their October dates due to unforeseen circumstances. They hope to make it down to Australia in the near future.”

ATP confirm that a replacement act is currently being negotiated and will be announced soon.

Release The Bats will feature Television performing ‘Marquee Moon’, The Breeders performing The Last Splash, The Scientists, Fuck Buttons, Lightning Bolt, Sleep, Pop Crimes (performing the songs of Roland S Howard), Forest Swords, Total Control, Balam Acab, Hoss, The UV Race, White Walls and The Spinning Rooms.

ATP Release The Bats is on Saturday, 26 October, 2013 at Westgate Centre and Grand Star Reception, Altona.
