Television To Play Marquee Moon At ATP Melbourne

Influential 70s New York band Television will perform their art punk classic Marquee Moon in Melbourne for All Tomorrow’s Parties in November.

The Halloween Day ATP show dubbed ‘Release The Bats’ will feature the only Australian show for Television.

ATP will also play tribute to Rowland S. Howard with Pop Crimes (The Songs of Rowland S. Howard) with a cast of performers put together by Mick Harvey, formerly of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. The show covers Howard’s music from Young Charlatans, The Birthday Party, These Immortal Souls and his solo albums.

ATP has also announced Balam Acab, the solo project for Alec Koone from Pennsylvania.

ATP will feature The Breeders performing ‘Last Splash’ and The Jesus Lizard in their only Victorian show.

ATP Release The Bats will be held at Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Reception, Altona, Melbourne, Victoria on October 26, 2013.

Tickets are $150 plus booking fee.

Headliners will finish at 11pm.
