in New Music,News

The Pretenders albums catalogue will be expanded and reissued under the Warner label banner in February.

The Pretenders reissue project will cover the eight albums from 1979 to 1999 and will be available to purchase in one all-encompassing special edition box set. The eight albums will also be available to buy separately.

The Pretenders were one of the seminal bands of the second British Invasion, bursting out of London in 1979 with their debut single Stop Your Sobbing. Fusing punk and New Wave and fronted by the legendary Chrissie Hynde, the band released a plethora of huge hits throughout their illustrious career including Brass In Pocket, I’ll Stand By You, Back On The Chain Gang, 2000 Miles and Don’t Get Me Wrong, all of which are featured within the special edition box set.
