The The will head to Melbourne for the International Arts Festival in October, as well as two shows in Sydney.

The The The Australian show will be the first time Matt Johnson has performed in Australia in almost 30 years.

Matt Johnson formed The The in 1979. In Australia the hits were ‘Uncertain Smile’ (1982), ‘Infected’ (1986) and ‘The Beat(en) Generation’ (1989).
