THE WEEKND recently achieved a Billboard first when he claimed the top three slots on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs as ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, ‘The Hills’ and ‘Earned It’ hit #1, #2 and #3 respectively. 2015 has been a breakout year for THE WEEKND, he is just the third artist to have two songs in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 simultaneously in 2015, and the first male. Only Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor have previously held that honor this year. Currently, the album’s first official single ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ sits at #2 while ‘The Hills’ sits at #11 and ‘Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)’ sits at #30. The Weeknd also recently hit #1 on the Artist 100 chart, a chart that blends data measuring album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction to provide a weekly multi-dimensional ranking of artist popularity.

‘Can’t Feel My Face’ is also seeing huge global success with the track debuting Top 5 in over 33 markets including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden and Denmark. Written by THE WEEKND and co-produced by pop powerhouse Max Martin, it’s no surprise that the track is already being hailed as the best song of 2015 by outlets like USA Today and Radio.com.

A festival showstopper, THE WEEKND recently headlined this year’s Lollapalooza music festival joining the likes of Paul McCartney, Metallica and Florence + the Machine and he also capped off a closing set at Coachella 2015 to rave reviews.
