In a Twitter post today Tim DeLaughter confirmed the Polyphonic Spree will play Splendour In The Grass in Australia mid-year.
When asked when they were coming back to Australia, Tim responded, “we’ll be there for splendor”.
The Polyphonic Spree last played Splendour In The Grass in 2008.
It has been five years since the last original album from The Polyphonic Spree ‘The Fragile Army’ although they did release the Christmas album ‘Holidaydream’ in 2012.
In October, 2012, the Polyphonic Spree launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund their next album and tour. They raised $100,000.
