Unbreakable Smile, the debut album from Capitol Records signed artist Tori Kelly, entered the Billboard 200 chart at No. 2 having shot to No. 1 on iTunes in the U.S. and Canada on day of release there.

Music-News.com caught up with Tori Kelly at the Isle of MTV in Malta this week for a quick chat, check out the exclusive interview below.

Executively produced by Max Martin (Taylor Swift, Katy Perry) and featuring collaborations with Ed Sheeran, LL Cool J and Daye Jack, Unbreakable Smile contains the smash hit U.S. singles ‘Nobody Love’ and ‘Should’ve Been Us’. The official video for ‘Should’ve Been Us’, directed by Rory Kramer, (Justin Bieber, Avicii), premiered last week and already has over a million views.

Tori Kelly has recently wowed U.S. audiences with her live performances at this year’s Billboard Awards and BET Awards, and on prime time TV show Good Morning America. Meanwhile her North American headline tour wraps up this Friday, July 3, in Boston ahead of her Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance later in the month.

No stranger to the UK, the Californian born and raised Tori Kelly supported Sam Smith on his UK tour last Autumn after embarking on her own nationwide headline sold out theatre tour here. Kelly also featured on Professor Green’s 2014 (gold certified) hit single ‘Lullaby’, which she performed with him at the MOBO Awards.

Born and raised in Temecula, California, Tori Kelly first rose to attention after her cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinkin Bout You’ went viral, racking up over 22 million views on YouTube. To date her YouTube channel boasts over one million YouTube Subscribers and over 90 million views. The Scooter Braun managed artist has been hailed as an Artist to Watch by Rolling Stone, USA Today and SPIN among others.

Tori Kelly’s debut album ‘Unbreakable Smile’ will be released in the UK on 16 October 2015 via Virgin EMI.
