American songwriter Zach Bryan will play six stadium shows across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in December 2027, his first Australian headlining run, with Vance Joy and Emma Ogier as special guests.
Zach Bryan will return to Australia in December 2027 for his first ever headlining tour, playing back-to-back nights at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Accor Stadium in Sydney and Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
The dates form part of the Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs Tour and are presented by Frontier Touring and UNIFIED Music Group. Special guests at every show will be Melbourne’s Vance Joy and American singer-songwriter Emma Ogier. All six concerts are licensed all ages.
The announcement follows Zach Bryan’s only previous Australian appearance, an exclusive 2023 performance at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse that sold out within minutes. That single show left demand clearly unfinished. Four years on, the jump to stadiums marks a clear step in scale for an artist whose live reputation has grown rapidly in the United States and beyond.
Only weeks ago Zach Bryan played to a near-capacity crowd of close to 74,000 at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts, underlining the size of the audiences now following him. The Australian dates will give local fans the chance to experience that same intensity across consecutive nights in three cities.
Since the 2019 release of the track “Heading South,” Zach Bryan has accumulated more than 36 billion global streams. He has released six studio albums that move between quiet, self-reflective songs and larger country-rock statements, often dealing with emotion, self-doubt, addiction and heartbreak in unfiltered language. Collaborations along the way have included Bruce Springsteen, Noah Kahan, Maggie Rogers, Bon Iver, Kings of Leon, John Mayer and Kacey Musgraves.
The new EP Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs arrives via Warner Music and continues the same direct approach to songwriting that has built his audience. The Australian tour will be the first opportunity for local crowds to hear that material live at stadium scale.
Vance Joy, the Melbourne songwriter who broke through with “Riptide” in 2013, brings his own substantial following. Across three albums – dream your life away, Nation of Two and In Our Own Sweet Time – he has amassed more than 10 billion streams and scored multiple ARIA nominations and wins. His catalogue includes the radio successes “Saturday Sun,” “Missing Piece” and “Clarity,” and he has already shared stadium stages internationally with Taylor Swift and P!NK. Having him as special guest on these dates gives Australian audiences a familiar and well-matched opening presence.
Emma Ogier, from Houston, Texas, is a more recent arrival. She began writing songs during the isolation of the pandemic years and has developed a style that mixes abstract reflection with plain-spoken observation. Her appearance on the tour introduces her work to Australian crowds for the first time.
The combination of Zach Bryan’s first Australian headline run, the presence of Vance Joy, and the decision to play consecutive nights in three major stadiums makes the December 2027 dates one of the clearer markers of how far the American songwriter’s audience has travelled since that single Flemington show in 2023.
