It must be a strange feeling for Billy Gibbons to have to celebrate 50 years of ZZ Top on tour without his co-founders and best friends Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. The good news is that Gibbons is continuing the legacy of one of America’s greatest Blues-Rock bands.

Samantha Fish is back on the road heading through Kentucky, Tennessee and Missouri this week but with the new album ‘Paper Doll’ out now for 2025, Samantha has had to make a few sacrifices to the setlist to include the new music.

We all talk about George Thorogood but you rarely hear the names of The Destroyers mentioned. So lets mention them. Drummer Jeff Simon has been with George since the band’s inception in 1973. Bass player Billy Blough has been in The Destroyers since 1976.

ZZ Top will return to Australia this weekend for their first Aussie shows in 12 years.

The first of the Australian shows for George Thorogood & The Destroyers have kicked off and this weekend the first of the shows for ZZ Top in Australia will also begin with Red Hot Summer in Bendigo on Saturday and Mornington on Sunday.
