Liz Martin has just released her third album Dance A Little, Live A Little while stuck in a prone position after hip surgery. You might expect it to be a depressive affair, but it’s the most cheerful and playful of her career.
We chat about how she shifted from guesting on dance music to releasing her pretty, pastoral folk, working with Dave Symes (Sarah Blasko, Missy Higgins), slotting a Bowie cover into the album, adding cute found sounds and she explains what a pocket trumpet is.
