Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Shelley Segal is one of the more outspoken artists around.

The Jewish-raised singer has recently put out her first record, which wears her skepticism on its sleeve with the title The Atheist Album.

She was the only musical guest booked to play at the Global Atheist Convention in Melbourne in April and has appeared in the United States at various skeptic events alongside the likes of Bad Religion’s Greg Graffin and other notable skeptics.

Segal (no relation to Steven), stopped by at Noise11 to have a chat to Tim Cashmere.
