Following the amazing success of their current UK sell-out tour, Blondie have announced their tenth studio album ‘ Ghosts Of Download’ is to be release in Autumn 2013.

The first single from the eagerly anticipated album is ‘A Rose By Any Name’ which was premiered on the Ken Bruce show on Radio 2 last week.

The single features Beth Ditto, was produced and co-written by Matt Katz-Bohen and is released today on itunes:

Never failing to deliver, Blondie have sold more than 40 million records worldwide in a career spanning almost 40 years and they are still going strong with both touring and releasing new material. The new album follows the last album ‘Panic of Girls’ which was released in 2011.

The exciting announcement of the upcoming album caps an extraordinary career for Debbie Harry, Chris Stein and Clem Burke since the explosion of Blondie into the music world with Parallel Lines in 1978.

The band have created global success with nine albums and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame under their belt, firmly ensuring Blondie are still making big waves in music.
