Kimbra Impressed With Gotye Cover By Walk Off The Earth

Canadian act Walk Off The Earth featuring Sarah Blackwood have covered Gotye featuring Kimbra ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ with five people playing one guitar.

The video, posted to YouTube, has impressed Kimbra. “Yes, I agree with you all, this is truly awesome!! Now, THAT’S team work,” she said in a statement.

Walk Off The Earth is an indie band from Burlington, Ontario. They have been together since 2006.

Sarah is also from Burlington. Since 2008 she has released three albums.

‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ by Gotye feat. Kimbra was the biggest selling Australian song of 2011. It was once again number one in Germany this week.

Kimbra will showcase at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March.
