The Superjesus have unveiled ‘St Peters Lane’, the latest song from their upcoming EP.

“St Peters Lane is about celebrating the fearlessness and guts that these women have. I admire them for their courage in the face of adversity, and their ability to do it night after night whilst making it look fun, and I wanted to re-create their tongue-in-cheek attitude in the video,” said Sarah McLeod. “I live amongst them and call some of them friends. I know a bit about what they go through and how hard they work to overcome discrimination. ”

The song was written by Sarah with bass player Stuart Rudd.

‘St Peters Lane’ is the second song of new music for The Superjesus this year and follows on from ‘The Setting Sun’ un June.

The songs are the first new music for The Superjesus and a prelude to a new album in 2016.

The Superjesus formed in Adelaide in 1994. Their debut album ‘Sumo’ reached no 1 in Australia in 1998. It was followed by ‘Jet Age’ (no 10, 2000) then ‘Rock Music’ (no 18, 2003).
