The original Taxiride ‘Imaginate’ line-up is back together for the first time in 15 years.

Dan Hall, Tim Watson, Tim Wild and Jason Singh played two low-key warm-up shows this month and will perform again in Melbourne on April 5.

Hall, Watson, Wild and Singh produced the no. 2 Australian album ‘Imaginate’ in 1999. The album delivered the hit songs ‘Get Set’ and ‘Everywhere I Go’.

Hall left after the first album saying at the time he was unhappy with the direction they band was heading. Taxiride then recorded a second album ‘Garage Mahal’ which peaked at no. 6 in 2002. It generated the top 5 hit ‘Creepin’ Up Slowly’. A third album ‘Axiomatic’ was released in 2005 and featured another hit ‘Oh Yeah’.

Taxiride will perform on April 5 at Melbourne Public on South Wharf Promenade, Melbourne.
