The Smashing Pumpkins Line-Up Some Famous Friends For Holmdel Show

The Smashing Pumpkins have lined-up AFI frontman Davey Havok, Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook, Killers members Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer, Courtney Love, Mark McGrath, and Deftones frontman Chino Moreno to join them in Holmdel, New Jersey this week.

The Smashing Pumpkins are touring their Shiny And Oh So Bright tour across North America. The line-up features original members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha. Longtime Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder, bassist Jack Bates, and keyboardist Katie Cole round out the lineup.

The Smashing Pumpkins with Corgan, Iha and Chamberlain, released their first new music together in 18 years recently. The song is ‘Solara’.

‘Solara’ was recorded in Malibu, CA at Shangri La Studios with producer Rick Rubin,

The Smashing Pumpkins formed in 1988. These shows mark the 30th anniversary of the band.
