The Atlas Agency founder Mark Lachey brings his roster featuring The Drones, Clutch, Ash Grunwald, Blue King Brown, Gareth Liddiard, The Black Seeds, Kora, Cog, The Beautiful Girls and Salmonella Dub.

“This is a very exciting change,” Mark said in a statement. “Moving across to Village Sounds allows me to wholly concentrate on my role as a booking agent, working as closely as possible with the acts we represent. Gabby is a huge asset to the new venture having been an integral part of Atlas for the past three years. I have always admired the work Village Sounds do and the acts they represent and look forward to working with the new team.”

Village Sounds existing roster includes Art Vs Science, Bernard Fanning, Birds of Tokyo, The Grates, The Mess Hall, The Vines, Violent Soho and Washington.

Mark Lachey has been running The Atlas Agency for the past eight years. He will bring with him Gabby Meli, who joins Village Sounds as Office Manager.

“We are thrilled to welcome Mark and Gabby to the team, both come with a wealth of experience,” said Village Sounds directors Jessica Ducrou and Evan Davis. “We look forward to working together growing Village Sounds into one of Australia’s most dynamic and innovative agencies. Exciting times ahead.”

The combined companies will operate out of Village Sounds Sydney office in Surrey Hills.
