Louisiana supergroup Lil’ Band O’ Gold have just released their tribute album to Fats Domino ‘Lil’ Band O’ Gold Play Fats’ with an all-star cast including Robert Plant, Lucinda Williams, Jimmy Barnes and Tim Rogers.
Lil’ Band O’ Gold members C.C. Adcock, Steve Riley and Warren Storm all have their own stories to tell as well as the story of the band.
Warren had a hit with ‘Prisoner’s Song’ in 1958 in the USA. Steve Riley also fronts Grammy nominated band the Mamou Playboys and C.C. Adcock has produced songs by Florence + The Machine and Nick Cave as well as productions for the TV shows Treme and True Blood.
Lil’ Band O’ Gold came into Noise11.com and performed ‘Blue Monday’ and ‘What A Price (Grand Prix)’ from their Lil Band O Gold Plays Fats album.
