Rose Tattoo Historic Footage Of Stones Classic Discovered VIDEO

in New Music,News

Historic footage of Rose Tattoo performing The Rolling Stones ‘Street Fighting Man’ has been discovered and released to mark Alberts 50th anniversary.

Video of the Tatts taken in France in the early 80s and from a Sydney jail performance of the late 70s has been released with the song included on the new 5 disc ‘Good Times’ Alberts 50th anniversary compilation.

Albert Productions was founded by Ted Albert in 1964 in Sydney but the company J. Albert and Sons was started by Jacques Albert in the 1880s.

The label is the home of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, The Angels, John Paul Young, Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs, The Easybeats, Flash and the Pan and Ted Mulry Gang. “We base the start of the company on Billy Thorpe’s early recordings and that was early 60s,” David Albert tells Noise11.com.

You can listen to the Albert Productions story from David Albert this week on iHeartRadio powered by Noise11.com

The ‘Good Times’ box set is released today through Sony Music.
