UK rock station, Planet Rock has found that Bob Dylan’s song ‘All along the Watchtower’ covered by Jimi Hendrix Experience is the greatest rock cover song of all time.

Planet Rock asked its listeners to vote throughout April on which cover song they believed as the best cover song of all time and
‘All Along The Watchtower’ topped the poll.

It was followed by Metallica’s version of a traditional Irish song ‘Whiskey in the jar’ which came in second and

The Beatles song ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ performed by Joe Cocker came in at number three.
