Angus & Julia Stone will return to Australia in February and March 2027 to begin their world tour behind their new album, Karaoke Bar.

Angus & Julia Stone will begin their Karaoke Bar World Tour in Australia in February 2027, with six dates announced across Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. The national run follows the release of their new album, Karaoke Bar, and precedes the next international phase of the tour.
The Australian dates mark the first opportunity for local audiences to hear material from Karaoke Bar performed live. The album was written and recorded across Greece, France and Australia, reflecting a period of travel and creative work for the brother and sister.
The tour also follows the international campaign surrounding 2024’s Cape Forestier, which took Angus & Julia Stone to major venues including London’s Royal Albert Hall, Paris’ L’Olympia and New York’s Town Hall.
Karaoke Bar is the duo’s latest studio release and is led by the single The Cherry Farm. The record moves between intimate songwriting and broader arrangements, with the different recording locations contributing to its musical character.
The new Australian tour will also draw from a catalogue that stretches back almost 20 years. Angus & Julia Stone first established their recording career with 2007’s A Book Like This before achieving a major breakthrough with Down The Way.
Released in 2010, Down The Way included Big Jet Plane, which became one of the duo’s defining songs and won the triple j Hottest 100. The album also earned Angus & Julia Stone ARIA recognition and established their international profile.
Their subsequent catalogue includes the self-titled Angus & Julia Stone in 2014, Snow in 2017 and Cape Forestier in 2024. Across that period, the pair have developed a substantial international audience, with more than three billion streams reported for their recorded music.
Their live career has similarly expanded from Australian theatres and festivals to major international concert venues. Their performances have become an important part of the band’s identity, built around the contrasting voices of Angus and Julia and their shared songwriting approach.
Australian Musician previously described an Angus & Julia Stone concert as a “magical experience”, reflecting the intimate character associated with the duo’s performances. Their return to Australia places that live repertoire alongside the new material from Karaoke Bar.
