Beyonce Records New Song For Epic Soundtrack

Beyonce has recorded a brand new song titled ‘Rise Up’ for the animated movie ‘Epic’.

Beyonce co-wrote the song with Australian singer/songwriter Sia. Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe produced it.

Beyonce plays Queen Tara in the movie, rapper Pitbull is Bufo the giant frog and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is a big slug called Nim Galuu.

Epic is a Twentieth Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios joint venture from the creators of Ice Age and Rio.

The voice-over cast also includes Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Amanda Seyfriend and Christoph Waltz.

‘Epic’ will start in cinemas on May 24.
