Bob Dylan’s forthcoming ‘Tempest’ album has gone to number 1 on Amazon on advance orders alone.

‘Tempest’ will be released on Friday September 7 in Australia and Tuesday September 11 in the USA.

The album is Dylan’s 35th studio album featuring 10 new songs. Bob Dylan recorded the album at Jackson Browne’s studio in Santa Monica with Jack Frost on production duties.

The video for the first song ‘Duquesne Whistle’ was directed by Australia’s Nash Edgerton, who album directed the last two Dylan videos.
