Body Of Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Mother-In-Law Found

The body of Sally Estabrook, the 76-year-old mother-in-law of Megedeth frontman Dave Mustaine, was found on Wednesday near Pinezanita Campgrounds in Julian, CA.

Estabrook went missing from the campground on October 4 and a large contingent of U.S. border patrol agents and a members of a number of other authorities participated in a search but did not find the body. On Wednesday, sheriff’s deputies received a call of a body in some heavy brush about a half mile from the campgrounds. Authorities have confirmed that it is Estabrook’s body.

An autopsy will be conducted; however, no foul play is suspected. According to Mustaine, Estabrook was in a severe stage of Alzheimer’s disease.

Mustaine announced that Estabrook’s body had been found on Thursday via Facebook:

Yesterday evening I received a call that a person had located a body and the investigators from SDSD Homicide Division described our beloved mother, Sally Estabrook. Thank you all for your prayers, your good thoughts, and positive vibes.
