The legendary Booker T. Jones joins Noise11 iHeartRadio this week to share stories about his half-century in music.

Booker T. was 16 years old when he made his first record and shortly after formed iconic soul group Booker T. & The MGs. He produced Bill Withers debut album and later brought Willie Nelson back from obscurity with the album ‘Stardust’.

Booker T & The MG’s backed Neil Young on the ‘Are You Passionate’ album. His most recent albums feature Gary Clark Jr as well as the late Lou Reed and Sharon Jones.

Listen to the Booker T. Jones story ahead of his Bluesfest show and Australian sideshows this week at Noise11 iHeartRadio.

There is also new music from supergroup QSP featuring Suzi Quatro, Andy Scott of Sweet and Don Powell of Slade, new songs from Bruno Mars and James Blunt and future classic Australian songs for Amy Shark and Tash Sultana.
