“We Love You Brian”

Those were the words on a giant balloon that Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips held above his head before launching into his version of the Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys’ classic Good Vibrations.

Artists like Boz Scaggs, fellow Beach Boy Al Jardine, Ann Wilson of Heart, Norah Jones and Wilson Phillips with Brian’s daughters Wendy and Carnie, performed some of their favorite Wilson songs for the benefit of the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.

The Cabin Down Below band, a popular group for playing multi-act benefits, were supplemented with seven members of Wilson’s band to create the classic, full sound of the Beach Boys.
