Bruce Springsteen Rattles Setlist For Second Perth Show

by Paul Cashmere on February 8, 2014

in Live,News

Bruce Springsteen was true to form for his second Perth concert on Friday night. Once again the E Street Band performed a totally unique set peppered with rarities.

In the early part of the set fans were treated to a triple play from the classic ‘The River’ album including ‘Sherry Darling’ (performed three times in 2013) and ‘Two Hearts’ (which was only played five times last year).

The 2014 Springsteen Australian tour is a completely different experience to the 2013 tour with the new album ‘High Hopes’ featuring prominently in the setlist. His cover of the Australian classic ‘Just Like Fire Would’ by The Saints has been played at both shows in Perth so far.

The Springsteen masterpiece ‘Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)’ was also served for the second Aussie show. Once the staple of every Springsteen show, Bruce’s finest live moment is performed occasionally these days so Perth fans lucked out.
